A customer contacted me to repair their fence which their new dog was finding all the ways to escape from. After an assessment, it appeared the slats were in the worst shape while the pressure treated posts were still in good condition with the cement still secure holding them in the ground, and could be reused.
After some fun with a hammer this is what I was left with.
This was one of two loads I took to the dump full of the rotted fence.
Loaded up with all the new cedar planks for the slats and cap, plus the pressure treated 2×4′s for the rails.
Using my trusty DeWalt I worked my way up the hill finishing this fine erection at nearly 100ft long.
