The original JEV6 provided quite the powerhouse for our family’s needs. It towed the boat to the lake, preformed flawlessly shuttling the family back and forth to Canada from Seattle loaded with luggage, and sometimes both at the same time. Although the MPV is an awesome vehicle, there is hardly a market for aftermarket parts, so everything has to be fabricated or Jerry-rigged to work.
The first modification was designed to help the van breathe better and came in the form of a K&N air filter designed for a Ford Explorer.
The second modification was installed to help the van exhale better through a custom 2.5″ exhaust system exiting out a bling chrome tip.
Next came new plugs, wires, and blaster coil. I also installed a grounding kit for improved computer signals.
